“Outstanding quality and consistency. The cutwork on the mocha set is as clean on the inside as the outside, and the lawn has kept its colour through a summer of washes.”

A womenswear label from Karachi for the kurta sets, organza three-pieces and embroidered jackets you will wear on an ordinary day - not just at the wedding.

TrendZone started in 2019 in a two-room studio in Karachi with one idea: the kurta sets we grew up in - lawn for the heat, raw silk for the evening, embroidery that took a week - should not be something you only wear to a wedding.
So we make three pieces a season, not thirty. Each one is cut from fabric we have handled, embroidered by artisans we know by name, and worn by us for a month before it is sold. If it does not survive that month, it does not ship.

Every season starts at the mill, not the sketchbook. We choose the lawn, the raw silk and the organza by hand, and only then decide what each one wants to be.
Our patterns are cut straight and self-lined so a kurta hangs the way it should without a facing showing through. One sample, worn for a month, before anything is graded.
Cutwork, thread and sequin work go to the same forty artisans we have worked with since 2019. It takes a week a piece. That is the point.
Each piece is steamed, folded into its cotton bag and boxed in the studio. Free two-day delivery, and 30 days to send it back if it is not right.
